Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Collaboration for Holiday Season
In a surprising crossover event that challenges conventional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the formal statement, "An unusual meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of banned ceremonies and fearsome transformations resonate through the darkness." The storyline features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the pair with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a clandestine group.
The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The teaser features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The teaser finishes with a powerful moment showing a character, probably the hostage, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Rewards and Extra Material
Players who accomplish the adventure will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
